2 to 10 tractors
Power only fleet dispatch at 5% per truck
Power only fleet dispatch for carriers running two to ten tractors under one MC. One desk plans every unit: trailer pool moves coordinated across trucks, program approvals kept current, and a weekly report for each truck. 5% of gross per truck, permanently.
Fleet rate
5%
of gross, every truck, once you run 2+. Single trucks pay 6%.

SEVERAL TRACTORS
Running several tractors on power only
Power only scales well on paper: no trailers to buy for each new truck. In practice, the second and third tractor bring problems a single owner-operator never has. These are the four we see most.
- ISSUE 01
Trucks chasing the same trailers
Two of your units bid on the same pool load, or both deadhead into the same yard while a better trailer sits 80 miles away.
- ISSUE 02
Approvals per program, per truck
Each program and broker wants your packet, your insurance certificate and sometimes the driver and unit details. Keeping them current for every truck is a job.
- ISSUE 03
Drivers calling different people
Without one desk, every driver negotiates their own loads and nobody sees the whole week.
- ISSUE 04
No clean numbers
You know the fleet's gross. You don't always know which truck is running too many empty miles.
If you are still adding your second truck, the setup basics are in our guide to starting a power only business; new drivers can get the basics from what power only trucking is.
REPORTING
Weekly per-truck reports
Every Friday you get a board like this: each unit's loaded and empty miles, gross, all-in rate per mile and the dispatch fee. It is the fastest way to spot the truck that keeps running empty, or the lane that pays better than the rest. Add or remove trucks to see how the fleet rate changes the fee.
Fleet board / week 42 / EXAMPLE
| Unit | Tractor | Loaded mi | Empty mi | Gross | All-in $/mi | Fee 5% |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T101 | Sleeper | 2,210 | 190 | $6,350 | $2.65 | $318 |
| T102 | Sleeper | 1,840 | 260 | $5,120 | $2.44 | $256 |
| T103 | Day cab | 2,430 | 150 | $7,010 | $2.72 | $351 |
| Fleet total | 6,480 | 600 | $18,480 | $2.61 | $924 | |
At the single-truck rate this week would cost $1,109 in dispatch fees. At the fleet rate it is $924, a difference of $185. Made-up loads to show the format; not a forecast of earnings.
ONE DESK
Coordinated trailer pool moves and program approvals
With several units on one board we can do things a single truck can't. One tractor drops an empty at a shipper yard where another is hooking a loaded trailer. A day cab runs the local shuttle while a sleeper takes the long program leg out of the same pool. When one driver goes home, another covers the lane so you don't lose it.
We keep your carrier packet, insurance certificates and unit list current with every broker and program, and we apply to new programs as your fleet qualifies. Each program publishes its own requirements; our carrier programs guide covers how they work.
CAPACITY
Your fleet as power only capacity
Shippers and brokers with trailer pools buy power only capacity: trucks they can count on to clear their yards every day. A single truck can cover a load. A fleet can cover a lane. That difference is what earns repeat and dedicated freight, and it is how a small fleet gets into a program's regular power only carrier network instead of competing for leftover loads.
We pitch your fleet that way, with honest numbers on how many units you can commit to a lane. No program awards are promised; rates and volume depend on the market and the customer.
ONBOARDING A FLEET
What we need for each truck
- Your MC and USDOT, W-9 and one certificate of insurance listing every scheduled tractor.
- A unit list: tractor number, day cab or sleeper, year, VIN and ELD provider for each truck.
- Each driver's home base, home time and the lanes they will and won't run.
- The programs and brokers you are already set up with, so we keep those relationships instead of starting over.
- One fleet floor rate, or a different floor per truck if your units have different costs.
We onboard the first two units together, then add the rest as their setups clear. Drivers get one contact on the desk, and you get the Friday board for the whole fleet.
FLEET RATE
5% per truck, no setup fee, no contract
The fleet rate applies to every truck once 2 or more run on our desk, charged only on loads hauled. Month-to-month, 30 days notice. Details on the pricing page, onboarding on how it works, and weekly totals for your own numbers in the dispatch fee calculator. Or go back to the power only dispatch service overview.
Fleet questions
What does the fleet rate cost?
5% of gross load pay per truck once you run 2 or more power only trucks with us under your authority. It applies to every truck, including the first, and it is our standing rate, not a promotion.
Do all my trucks have to use your dispatch?
No, but the fleet rate applies when at least 2 trucks are on our desk. Which trucks are on the desk is written into the dispatch agreement.
Can you dispatch a mix of day cabs and sleepers?
Yes. Day cabs usually take regional drop and hook and shuttle work near your yard; sleepers take longer program lanes. We plan both on the same board so they hand trailers off where it makes sense.
How do programs see my fleet as power only capacity?
Programs and brokers with trailer pools want carriers who can cover a lane every day. Several approved units under one authority let us offer your fleet as steady capacity on that lane, which can open dedicated or repeat freight. We can't promise any program will award it.
