Power only dispatch cost: one flat rate, no extras
Our power only dispatch cost is 6% of the gross load pay for one truck and 5% per truck once you run 2 or more. That single percentage covers finding, negotiating and booking the load, the broker paperwork, check calls and claims. You pay it only on loads you haul.

LINE 01 / THE RATE
If you don't haul, you don't pay
The fee is a percentage of what the broker or program pays for the load, the number on the rate confirmation. A load that pays $2,000 costs $120 in dispatch fees on a single truck. A week at home costs nothing, and so does a load you turn down.
We picked a percentage on purpose. When we negotiate a higher rate, you keep most of the gain and we earn a little more too, so our incentive points the same way as yours: better paying loads, less deadhead, fewer wasted days. A flat weekly fee pays the dispatcher the same whether the truck earns well or not.
What we won't do is promise you a number. Power only rates move with the season, the lane and how many trucks are chasing the same trailers. Our guide to power only rates per mile explains how loads get priced and how to set the minimum you will run for.
LINE 02 / EXAMPLE MATH
Run the fee on a real load
Pick a drop and hook load or a tow away move, or type in a load you were offered. Flip between one truck and a fleet to see the difference. The math runs in your browser; nothing is sent.

Never on your bill
- Setup or onboarding fee
- Monthly minimum or software fee
- Fee on weeks you sit at home
- Extra charge for new authorities
- Cancellation penalty
Insurance, fuel, tolls and lumpers stay your costs as the carrier. We are a dispatch service, not a broker, a factoring company or an insurance agency.
LINE 04 / FLEET RATE
5% per truck once you run 2 or more
Two trucks on the same desk let us do things one truck can't: swap trailers between your own units, cover a program lane with two drivers, and book a reload for one truck off the other's drop. That saves us time, so the rate drops for every truck in the fleet, including the first one.
This is our standing fleet price, not a limited offer. Add a third truck, or a tenth, and it stays 5%. How we dispatch power only fleets.

Ready to compare? Have these numbers in hand
Whatever dispatcher you pick, know your own cost per mile first. A fee only makes sense next to what the truck costs to run. Insurance is usually one of the biggest fixed lines for a power only carrier, especially once a program asks for trailer interchange coverage. Our power only insurance guide lists the coverages, and the carrier programs guide covers what the big trailer-pool programs ask for.

Pricing questions
How much does a power only dispatcher charge?
Most dispatch services charge either a percentage of each load or a flat weekly fee per truck, so compare what is included, not just the number. We charge 6% of the gross load pay for a single truck and 5% per truck for fleets of 2 or more, with no setup fee and nothing on weeks you don't haul.
Is there a setup fee or a contract?
No setup fee. The dispatch agreement is month-to-month and you can cancel with 30 days notice. There is no penalty for leaving.
Do new authorities pay a higher rate?
No. A new MC pays the same 6% as everyone else. New authorities do take more setup work because some brokers and programs want a minimum authority age, and we handle that work at no extra charge.
How do I get the fleet rate?
Run 2 or more power only trucks with us under your authority and every truck is billed at 5% of gross. It is our standing fleet rate, not a promotion.
What if you can't find me a load that week?
Then you pay nothing for that week. The fee only applies to loads you haul. Markets change and we can't promise a load count or a rate, but we can promise you won't be billed for empty weeks.
